Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong Makes Big Crypto Prediction As BlackRock and Meta Enter Space

The head of the biggest crypto exchange in the US is sharing his thoughts about the industrys present and future.

In a new interview with CNBCs Crypto World, Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong tells host Kate Rooney that he believes Big Tech companies like BlackRock and Meta will all participate in the next phase of the crypto-powered internet.

When it comes to the crypto winter that has hindered the industry since late last year, the tech entrepreneur hopes to see a turnaround sometime before the middle of 2023.

Armstrong adds that Coinbase remains focused on its long-term goals rather than fluctuations on the price charts.

The CEO concludes by saying hes encouraged by how expanded staking is improving the crypto space, especially projects like Ethereum (ETH), Polygon (MATIC), Optimism (OP) and Solana (SOL).
