France stocks higher at close of trade; CAC 40 up 1.83%
Investing.com France stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Healthcare, Oil & Gas and Consumer Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Paris, the CAC 40 gained 1.83%, while the SBF 120 index gained 1.88%.
The best performers of the session on the CAC 40 were Renault SA (EPA:RENA), which rose 3.90% or 1.20 points to trade at 31.95 at the close. Meanwhile, Publicis Groupe SA (EPA:PUBP) added 3.55% or 1.90 points to end at 55.48 and Kering SA (EPA:PRTP) was up 3.33% or 14.90 points to 462.90 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Air Liquide SA (EPA:AIRP), which rose 0.15% or 0.18 points to trade at 118.82 at the close. Danone SA (EPA:DANO) added 0.57% or 0.28 points to end at 48.25 and LOreal SA (EPA:OREP) was up 0.66% or 2.15 points to 328.50.
The top performers on the SBF 120 were Orpea SA (EPA:ORP) which rose 10.50% to 11.84, Vallourec (EPA:VLLP) which was up 9.70% to settle at 10.66 and Valneva (EPA:VLS) which gained 6.46% to close at 6.69.
